How to use

Inhalations

Essential oil is one of the most popular methods. It can be done with diffusers, personal inhalers, or by adding a few drops of essential oil to a bowl of warm (but not very hot) water.

Application to the skin

Oils should be diluted in carriers such as coconut, jojoba or almond oil to create gentle blends that are safe for the skin. Essential oils can be applied through massage, especially around the chest, back and feet. Applying essential oils to these areas can help alleviate symptoms of respiratory infections, facilitate breathing and improve comfort.

Aromatherapy baths

Aromatherapy baths are a pleasant and relaxing form of essential oil therapy. Adding a few drops of your favorite essential oils to warm water during a bath can provide many health and emotional benefits. Aromatherapy baths can help with relaxation, stress reduction, and respiratory infection symptoms. Remember, you must first dilute the oils in a carrier oil.

Direct Inhalation

A simple method of using essential oils is direct inhalation, which involves inhaling the scent of the oils directly from the bottle or using a tissue or cotton ball soaked in the oil. This quick and effective technique can be used in a variety of situations, such as to improve concentration before studying, to calm you down before bed, or to relieve symptoms of a cold.

Compresses

Essential oil compresses can be used to soothe a sore throat, earache or to facilitate expectoration. For this purpose, you can heat up Epsom salt, add a few drops of the appropriate oil to it and apply it to the sore spot or to the chest. You can use, for example, a sock or a small pillowcase.

Each of these methods has its own benefits and can be tailored to your individual needs. Just remember to be careful and use essential oils in the right concentrations to avoid any allergic reactions or excessive skin irritation.
